How teamwork shapes our corporate culture

 

Metallbude is continuously growing. Not only as a company, but also as a team. We now employ almost 40 employees and with each new hire, tasks are restructured and redistributed. This is often our biggest challenge as a start-up. At the same time, it is also our greatest concern to maintain our corporate culture and to enable modern working not only to be lived, but also to be possible for everyone - regardless of the size of the team. Because when it comes to New Work, it's not about digitization, but the focus is on the people.

 

  

Work-Family Balance

Career or starting a family? At Metallbude , it's not an either-or decision - especially not for women. The keyword here is "Work-Family Balance", i.e., balancing professional demands with family obligations. As is well known, this requires a conscious allocation of time and energy to be effective at work and to spend quality time with the family. And that's exactly what we want to enable everyone at Metallbude . Babies and children are always welcome in our office. Flexible working hours are definitely facilitated. And understanding is always shown - by colleagues and management alike.It may sound almost utopian, but our employees are leading the way: Whether it's a mother of two toddlers working from home with a weekly office day or a breastfeeding mother in a team meeting - everything is possible if you really want it. And the best part: In the office, there are always helping hands and voluntary babysitters who make it easier for mothers to balance and promote their integration into everyday office life.

 

 

Family 2.0

Besides general company values, family values in particular play a major role within our company and form the heart of our working culture. They emphasize cohesion, respect, and support among us colleagues in the team - similar to a family.These values promote teamwork, open communication, and trust, which positively influences the work atmosphere. Our personal experience: A productive and harmonious work environment is the foundation for a healthy work-life balance, employee motivation and retention, as well as personal growth within the company. The feeling of belonging and community is thus very prevalent at Metallbude . Here, not only tasks, premises, and the coffee machine are shared, but also good conversations, good food, and (more or less) good music. In sum, each one of us can say with good conscience and conviction: Metallbude is like a second family.
